Catherine P. Cwynar

Catherine P. Cwynar, 87, of Neshannock Township, formerly Mahoningtown, died on the morning of May 27, 2021 at her residence.
Born May 12, 1934 in Rimersburg, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Violet Bailey Flowers.
On August 23, 1958, Catherine married her beloved husband, Theodore A. Cwynar. He predeceased her in death on January 27, 2006.
Catherine was a member of the Polish National Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity and was an active member of the Church’s Society of the Blessed Sacrament.
Catherine loved gardening and baking.
A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Catherine’s greatest joy was spending time and attending family gatherings.
Catherine is survived by her children, Robert Fisher and his wife, Mary Ann, of Oklahoma, Suzanne Bullano and her husband, Robert, of New Castle, Debra Janus and her husband, John, of New Castle, Pam McClurg and her husband , Warren, of Canfield, Ohio, and Karen Cwynar of New Castle; her brother, Howard Flowers of New Castle; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband, Catherine was predeceased to death by her former husband, William J. Fisher; her brother, Ralph Flowers; and his great-grandson, Dylan Bullano.
Visitations will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral and Crematorium, 941 S. Mill St. A service will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home, led by the Ladies of the Society of the Blessed Sacrament from the church.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday for a Christian burial mass which will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at the Polish National Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity. Monsignor John Rencewicz will officiate.
Visitors are expected to adhere to CDC guidelines for wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
