Daniel Lee Pulliam

WARSAW – Daniel Lee Pulliam, 84, formerly of Terre Haute, died on Wednesday January 19, 2022 at his home in Warsaw surrounded by his family. He was born on December 16, 1937 in Breese, Illinois to Hubert Dale Pulliam and Martha Mary Pulliam.
Daniel worked as a metallurgical engineer for over 40 years before retiring from Alcan in Terre Haute. He was also a pilot and enjoyed flying in his Mooney plane.
Daniel was very generous. Above all, he was known for being sweet, funny, and hardworking. He never complained or spoke meanly about others. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His family was his whole world.
Daniel is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Carole Pulliam; daughters Linda Kitch (Steve) and Maria Thompson (Justin); grandchildren Gabriela Bonilla, Aurora Bonilla, Karly Perkins, Daniel Kitch, Shelby Legan and Kelsey Heckman; seven great-grandchildren; sisters Jane Diffenauer and Kathy Gaytan; and brothers Rich Pulliam, Joe Pulliam, Bob Pulliam, Jim Pulliam, Mark Pulliam and Steve Pulliam; and his sister-in-law Linnea Izzo (Tom). He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Marlene Hans and his brothers Tom Pulliam and Mike Pulliam.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the DeBaun Springhill Chapel from noon to 2:00 p.m. Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Online condolences can be sent to:
