“For the Philadelphia Eagles, for us, to have an elite game at center is important. We felt like this guy, he was different from the centers that have come out in the last two years. We think that he has a chance to be really, really good. Learning from the best of all time (in Jason Kelce), we thought that was a way for him to be even better. – Executive Vice President/General Manager Howie Roseman
“I think with Cam Jurgens, his athletic ability, the explosiveness, the range and the mentality that he played with. Then we got to know him and get to know the person, the leadership, the presence that he had and the fit, it was a comfort level with all of that. But you see it. You see it on the tape and go out and lead and run and work the second tier and move people to the line of scrimmage in the run blocking, and just the mentality and the finishing and all those things that we like to do by our offensive linemen, we’ve seen that in Cam.” – Vice President of Player Personnel Andy Weidl
