Eric Allmon

Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne and Warsaw have chosen Eric Allmon, EdD, as Dean of the School of Business, Logistics and Supply Chain and the School of Public Affairs and Social Services. Allmon will oversee the academic affairs of the two schools on the Fort Wayne campus.

“By teaching and leading at Ivy Tech, I have developed a deep respect for the community college and its purpose,” said Allmon. “I am very happy to continue at Ivy Tech Fort Wayne and Warsaw, serving the needs of students and faculty in business, logistics and supply chain schools and public affairs and social services. The landscape of educational needs in the workplace is constantly changing, and at Ivy Tech we will need to grow and evolve with these trends.

“I am delighted to start working with Eric to continue the great work that has been done in business, entrepreneurship and public affairs and social service schools over the past few years,” said Heidi Fowler, Vice-Chancellor of Academic Affairs. “With exciting new initiatives to come, we stand ready to provide students and employers in our region with the opportunity to start businesses and create jobs. I have no doubts that Allmon will strengthen our programs, align our offering with local needs and improve the student experience at Ivy Tech Fort Wayne.
