Full Gospel House of Praise, along with Purple Tent of Hope Ministries, announced the third annual Dawn to Dusk “Jesus is my HOPE Jam”, a free community event offering HOPE through 14 hours of chanting, testimonies of recovery, prayer, praise and proclamation.

The event will take place near Pike Lake at Beyer Park, 811 E. Arthur St., Warsaw, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, according to a press release provided. Participants are welcome to come and go as often as they wish.

This event includes live praise and worship led by several local Christian artists. There will also be several addiction recovery stories throughout the day, including Angel Bryant, founder of Stronger than Addiction in Elkhart, The Remnant Ministries of Huntington, Exodus Ministries of Warsaw and more.

A free take-out dinner (bring a dish if you can) will also be offered during the event.

Full Gospel House of Praise will have a church service at the park, starting at 7 p.m. Pastors Buddy and April Bradley of Word of Life Outreach, Kendallville, will minister in a “tag team” style with Pastor Rocky Addair and Serena Case. All are welcome to stay and “have church”.

The “Purple Tent of Hope” will be available all day for anyone who wishes to pray or needs to speak to someone without judgement, the statement said. Prayer requests can also be placed discreetly in a prayer box. A “HOPE” resource table will also be set up with free bibles, bracelets, stickers and other materials to help with hurts, habits and blockages. Free drinks will be available.

Serena Case, Founder of the Purple Tent of HOPE Ministries, said, “This event aims to bring HOPE to the multitude in Warsaw who may be feeling hopeless at this time. Our hope is that many will come to “rest a while” in a place of open-air worship and upliftment. We live in difficult times, but Jesus gives us hope even in the darkest situations. In fact many of the people who will be sharing songs and testimonies were once broken people who once suffered from depression, addiction, rejection, despair and many other hurts, habits and blockages and felt they had no HOPE. It is a wonderful testimony of how lives can be changed through the hope found in Jesus.
