Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding is preparing to conquer Italy
Portofino, Italy, population 376, found itself the most glamorous place on Earth this weekend, when Kourtney Kardashian ready to marry Travis Barker. In addition to the rest of the Kardashian clan, Beyonce checked into a posh Portofino hotel and five-time Grammy nominee Andrea Bocelli will occur at the event.
Technically, this is the third marriage for Kardashian and Barker, who tied the knot in Las Vegas last April (yes, by Elvis) and then had a civil ceremony in California last week. (There’s a word about the fourth round in Los Angeles, for those who can’t do the Italian reception.) The two went public with their relationship in January 2021. By then, they had been dating for months, but played down the reports, saying they were just neighbors and friends.
This is Kardashian’s first marriage, although she was in a relationship with Scott Disick for a decade, and the couple have three children. This is the third marriage for Barker, best known as the Blink-182 drummer, and he has two children with his ex-wife. Shanna Moakler. He also helped raise Moakler’s first child, daughter of his ex-fiancé, a boxer Oscar De La Hoya. Barker has no shortage of tattoos either.
The wedding is to take place at Castello Brown, a castle dating from the 16th century and now owned by the municipality. (Book your own wedding overlooking Portofino Bay, less than an hour’s drive from Genoa, here.) If you’ve already seen mike newelthe film Enchanted April with Joan Plowright, Jim Broadbent, Miranda Richardsonand Alfred Molina, that’s where it was shot. (It was also the place of Sophie Marceau segment of the Michelangelo Antonioni-Wim Wenders collaboration beyond the clouds.)
Saturday, Kourtney’s sister Kim took one of her kids and her niece out for ice cream while wearing an all-grey Dolce & Gabbana outfit. Other pre-game events included dinner with the whole gang, lunch in the fishing village of San Fruttuoso, a night out at Dominique Dolce and Stefano Gabbana‘s, and “lots of time on massive yachts in between,” according to People.
