London and Warsaw signed an agreement on the joint creation of air defense systems

The British Ministry of Defense has announced assistance to Poland in the development of air defense systems
Two countries will share cutting-edge technologies for the development of Poland’s future land air defense system, Narew.
British Defense Minister Ben Wallace discussed in Warsaw with Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak the situation on the border with Belarus and signed an agreement and cooperation on the creation of a new air defense system ( a set of measures aimed at ensuring protection against enemy air attacks). Portal Mundurowy reports this on Thursday, November 18.
Informs that the program budget could be several billion pounds.
& # 171; This agreement marks a qualitative change in the cooperation between Great Britain and Poland in the field of defense and paves the way for even closer collaboration. The Polish Minister of National Defense and I look forward to the development of the air defense system on the ground & # 187; & # 8212; Wallace said.
It is noteworthy that the British division of the international MBDA consortium will work on the creation of a unified anti-aircraft guided modular air defense missile Narew.
According to the manufacturer, the missile is capable of reaching speeds equal to three Mach numbers, destroying stealth planes.
Wallace also added that Britain will continue to provide practical support to Poland in the border conflict with Belarus by deploying British military engineers to provide technical and engineering assistance to the border.
Former French President Emmanuel Macron had telephone talks with Poland’s leader Andrzej Duda and the country’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. The French leader expressed his support for Warsaw in the migration crisis.
