Teletubbies Launches Pride Month Clothing Collection

In June, for Pride Month, children’s and family entertainment company WildBrain and GLAAD – the world’s largest LGBTQ media advocacy organization – team up to launch a Teletubbies fashion collection for adult fans. Proceeds from sales of the collection will benefit GLAAD.
The Teletubbies Pride collection consists of streetwear clothing inspired by the 90s, with an emphasis on two themes: “Big Hugs, Big Love” and “Teletubbies Love Pride”. The line includes a bucket hat, crossbody bag, muscle tee, and tubular socks, as well as a limited supply of two-piece suits made to order. The pieces feature custom graphic treatments, prints, and cues from the Teletubbies, such as their antennae colors and shapes.
“The Teletubbies have always embraced their own quirky originality and sense of style. This Pride Month we are celebrating that ‘love who you are’ spirit through our ready-to-rave fashion collection that makes Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po very proud, ”said Michael Riley, Director of WildBrain brands. “We’ve taken the most iconic items fans know and love from the Teletubbies and crafted a playful collection with a fashion twist that we hope fans will love wearing this Pride month and throughout the year. “
“In this Pride Month, iconic Teletubbies brand celebrates the importance of self-expression and acceptance in a unique and uplifting way, while giving back to create change,” said John McCourt, Director principal of GLAAD. “Profits from this collection will support GLAAD’s culture change programs, including our work to develop LGBTQ imagery and inclusion in programs for children and families.”
