The clothing brand BMC ADICTA LAB launches the Equinox+ collection
ADICTA LAB, a subsidiary of the BMC group, has launched its first collection for men and women.
The Swiss high-end cycling clothing company aims to create its technical products in a sustainable way. Equinox+, the company’s spring and summer collection, offers jerseys and bib shorts for riders… ‘with an aggressive riding style, as well as for those who prefer long hours in the saddle.’
The Alate Jersey is lightweight and made from recycled PET plastic bottles. The premium Italian fabric used provides great breathability and an “elegant second-skin feel”. Ultralight mesh side panels improve ventilation in areas that need it most. As a result, moisture from perspiration is kept to a minimum, especially during aggressive cycling sessions.
The Valent jersey is lightweight and breathable with built-in thermoregulation technology, for sustained performance. It is made from strategically placed super light mesh and highly breathable fabric incorporating 37.5 technology. Here, high-end Italian fabrics have been chosen specifically for their ventilation and thermoregulation qualities to allow maximum comfort for day trips.
The shirts feature minimalist designs – Terra and Aqua – inspired by nature.
The Joule and Liana bib shorts are made with lightweight recycled fabric. The company adds that this is not only because it is environmentally friendly, but also because of its technical advantages and comfort. Premium Italian fabric provides a luxurious feel, high breathability and muscle compression to aid performance. It comes with a gender-specific 4D performance pad for long-lasting comfort and protection.
A handful of accessories – caps, socks and fireside chairs – are available to complete the look.
To go further and aim to have an impact beyond the use of recycled materials for its products, ADICTA LAB has created the Terra Foundation, presented as ‘a proactive initiative to protect our planet’.
Represented by the dismantled ADICTA LAB logo that forms a landscape, the Terra Foundation will support a new environmental cause each year. In 2022, it will plant a tree for every purchase made.
ADICTA LAB products are now available online in Switzerland, Germany and France. The products will be available online in the United States starting in May, as well as in select BMC retail stores internationally.
