Where to find the best francs in Garland for National Hot Dog Day
In the summer in Texas, every day looks good for a hot dog. But if you want another reason to go out and enjoy some sausage, July 21 is National Hot Dog Day.
We’ve put together a list of five companies serving hot dogs in and around Garland, with help from Garland Foodies, a Facebook group.
Samson’s gourmet hot dogs
Samson’s sells a variety of inventive hot dogs appealing to carnivores, vegans, people who eat gluten-free and “even the most discerning epicurean,” according to its website. Some of the signature ingredients topped with Samson’s sausages include Asian coleslaw, feta cheese, paprika hummus and fritos. Léa-Léa’s gourmet hot dogs

Randy’s Tex-Mex barbecue
This local Tex-Mex and BBQ restaurant specializes in tortas, ribs, $ 1 tacos on Tuesdays and also serves Mexican-style hot dogs. Randy’s offers two sausage options: sensilla and the peasant. TJ Dawg House

Restaurateur and Pastor Lee Wells serves more than old-fashioned burgers at Wells Cattle Co. Burgers & Pies.
