Who organized the Revolve Festival? Ridiculous even compared to Fyre, but the internet has NO SYMPATHY

No social media influencer with thousands of followers would have said no to an unforgettable weekend at the legendary Coachella music festival. A similar music festival was organized by clothing brand Revolve, but the experience was far from a dream for some digital influencers.

Clothing brand Revolve held a two-day event in La Qunita, California. The guest list included the most influential social media influencers. They shared a captivating visual teaser titled “REVOLVE FESTIVAL STARTS NOW 🔥 get ready for all the festival content and fire fits all over your gram because it’s here #REVOLVEfestival” on April 16, Saturday.

Several renowned artists from the industry marked their presence at the festival. Influential celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Quavo, Post Malone, among others, have also been spotted. This was an invite-only event where free clothing was up for grabs and there were several cosmetic points for creating premium content. Although it was a scorching day, the creators filmed content for their social media accounts.

That said, not all influencers had the best time. Some were clearly unhappy with the way the festival was run while others called it ‘the new Fyre festival’. Influencer Averie Bishop recorded her time at the festival where she shared her experience. It probably wasn’t the best because the video shows she couldn’t even get on one of the shuttles that took influencers to the event. Bishop captioned her video, “hope you made it to the festival @kate bartlett!! #revolvefestival @revolve”

In the video, Averie explained, “The only way to get into the Revolve festival is to dunk their specific shuttles into the ground. I didn’t even get into the festival guys, I waited in line for two hours .There was pushing, shoving, fighting, pulling people in front of the buses, people standing between the buses as they were leaving, just to get on those buses and get to Revolve Festival.”

In his view, this was a “dangerous” situation and Averie urged organizers to make better arrangements for the festival next year. Likewise, Kristi Howard is another influencer who was unable to enter. She said in a TikTok, “Revolve Festival was like a**tshow, it was a disaster.” She added. “We arrived at 2:30, 3:00 p.m. No address given, just told ‘something and something’ corner. If you live in LA you can pick up your bracelet but I don’t live in LA. J flew here thinking I had this great opportunity for my career, I thought it would be really cool to network and meet my friends on the internet in real life, and it wasn’t like that.”

Twitter exploded after LAMag reporter Joseph Kapsch shared his experience. His tweet read: “Alleged fighting, screaming, everyone giddy.” @LAMag said the police are coming. The comments under the tweet sounded like “Easy answer – none of them matter”

Another slammed influencers and said: ‘Not influencers comparing revolve festival to Fyre festival just because they had to wait 2 hours in line for a shuttle’

But some Twitter users argued the comparison to the Fyre festival. One of those critics tweeted, “So some people never made it to the party, and some people are stuck on the site. It’s Fyre Festival.”

So some people have never made it to the party, and some are stuck at the scene. This gives Fyre Festival
